CP-HOOD 6.0 is now available

Version 6.0 contains a number of improvements to the user interface and the database handling. It includes a number of new features:

  • It is now possible to enter data directly into edit boxes without using the buttons first
  • The ODS editor allows text to be added and modified directly without using the edit option from the right-click menu
  • The diagram editors allow objects to be added using buttons as well as from the menus
  • There are file lookup options where file names are to be entered
  • There are options to warn of outstanding dictionary updates and to automatically perform them after editing
  • There is a new facility to rename an object
  • The ADA reverse engineering facility now builds the required interface section by recognising uses of external subprograms, variables and types.

Stood 5.2 is now available

Stood 5.2 is now available. It offers an industrial solution for Model Driven Engineering of critical System and Software.

The Architecture Analysis and Design Language (AADL) is a new modelling language for performance critical system and software. The AADL is a SAE international standard (AS5506). This Component Based approach is fully compliant with the strong HOOD methodological backgroung already supported by Stood and applied on many large scale mission critical projects.
Main features of Stood 5.2:

  • AADL graphical editor for System and Software modelling
  • HOOD, HRT-HOOD and UML 2.0 structure diagrams editors
  • Import of textual AADL as well as legacy Ada and C code
  • Export of textual AADL specifications
  • Ada, C and C++ code generators with round trip engineering
  • Integrated management of the requirements traceability
  • Multi-format design documentation generator
  • Model verification tools

Interface with remote tools:

  • OSATE/TOPCASED;
  • CHEDDAR;
  • Configuration Management Tools:
  • Reqtify
  • Full Unix/Windows interoperability
  • Standalone or multi users network installation
  • Lightweight solution (25 Mb disk space)

Ellidiss also provides training courses and tool related service to facilitate the use of Stood within existing development environments or to customize its features (code generators, documentation templates, …) in compliance with corporate wide or project specific constraints.

HOOD Data Bridger Version 0.11

The HOOD data bridger 0.11 is now available.

The HOOD data bridger 0.11 is now available. by contacting  Ellidiss Software (TNI Europe Limited) by telephone or via info@ellidiss.com.

This bridger will bridge the HOOD database used by the  CP HOOD toolset to AADL, UML2 or HRT-HOOD usage by STOOD 5.2.

This straghtforward data conversion will enable existing HOOD data to be employed as the starting database of a new project, a project mandating the usage of AADL, or a project needing to emply a combination of development techniques.
